We use a combination of traditional and airbrush makeup and it depends on your skin type/texture etc. We do this for maximum longevity while looking as natural you desire.

Q: What type of makeup do you use?

We specialize in a more natural makeup style that makes you look like yourself. We start off really light with makeup in your trial and add more color/drama/shading to your liking.

Q. I don't wear a lot of makeup every day and afraid I wont look like myself. Will I look cakey?

Q. Are faux lashes included?

YES! Faux lashes are included with every makeup application. We have different lengths/volumes to accommodate all makeup styles. We even have a special length for mom's and grandma's.

Q. What brands do you use?

We use most cruelty-free brands such as:
Urban Decay,Tarte, NYX, Dinair, Kat Von D, Too-Faced, Natasha Denona
If you have special requests such as gluten free, let us know!

Q. How long do trials take?

Trials typically take between 2-2.5 hours depending on how many hairstyles we try, lipstick colors etc. We truly want you to love your hair and makeup look. Don't forget to take this into account when scheduling your bridals etc.

Q. How does payment work?

You can pay your invoices directly from the link we send but there is a credit card fee. 
To avoid that you can pay us via Venmo (@teasehtx). 
Typically we do not take individual payments from the attendants, we prefer they pay the Bride and we get one payment. 
Also, if you wanted to do installments we can definitely work with you on that!

Q. Can I adjust my services after I sign the contract?

Yes, you can adjust your services till about 6 weeks before the wedding! At this point we need to add artists, make schedules etc.

Q. how long do you allow for services on the wedding day?

For Brides, we allow 2-2.5 hours for both hair and makeup
For Bridesmaids/Moms/Guests we allow 1 - 1.5 hours

Great hair and makeup isn't rushed, it takes time!

Q. can i book a trial before reserving my wedding day?

Trials are exclusively reserved for brides that already have a contract booked.

Q. what additional fees do you charge?

Travel fees are calculated 30 min+ from Houston, TX 77079
Travel fees apply to each artist on the contract
All bookings that are over 2 hours away we request an overnight stay the night before to make sure we are close to the event in the morning!

**Holidays:** Holidays will incur a $400 surcharge added to the final invoice. Holidays: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Eve.

Early Start: If services need to start before 6am a $150 fee applies to each stylist needed.

Q. are tips included?

We understand that tipping culture is getting out of hand! Gratuity is not included but it is completely left to the clients discretion.

Q. do you charge less for short hair/blow outs?

We charge a flat fee for all additional hairstyling, this includes short hair and blow waves. Most times a blow wave takes longer than normal styling, as we must prep, blow wave and then thermal style the hair.

Q. how should I prep my hair and skin for appointments?

For hair - clean, blow dried hair is best
For makeup - Freshly washed skin with some moisturizer (no SPF! It causes flashback)
